CD - A Dué (Chamber Jazz) (A Dué)
One of my very best friends, Gerry Schroeder, and I used to spend an afternoon every munching on on fine food and drinking fine wine. Of course, this led to playing some tunes together. After a while we decided "why not make a CD", since some of the rehearsals seemed historic. This is what we came up with, featuring a lot of tunes by Gerry and the only tune I ever wrote. We threw in a couple of great standards, too. You Can Count On Me by Cy Coleman With Every Breath I Take by Cy Coleman Bennie's In Heaven by Gerry Schroeder Confused Blues by Mike Vaccaro Wine and Stein is Fine by Gerry Schroeder Smoke Gets In Your Eyes by Jerome Kern Looking North From North Dakota by Gerry Schroeder Basses are People Too by Gerry Schroeder Bent Blues By Gerry Schroeder Maddie's Blues by Clausen Elegy for Bill and Monk by Gerry Schroeder Song for Stomper by Gerry Schroeder He's Asleep by Alf Clausen

This is an interesting product. I asked several composer friends to write "what they think I do." The result was quite surprising in that all the pieces are quite different.

Melodies (Pop) (Adult Contemporary) (Melodies)
Melodies is a CD of popular tunes from the 40's through the 90's. It is approached as POP Chamber Music as the instrumentation has no drum set and only a few pieces have bass. But you WILL know the melodies and enjoy the treatments of each tune.

CD Latin Love (Latin Jazz) (Latin Jazz)
Recorded in 2016, this CD features me and some of the friends I have worked with for many years. We never took more than 2 takes, and the guys and gal performed with the quiet virtuosity I love so much. This features Latin tunes with a new groove concept than the usual style for each tune. Songs include: Oblivion by Astor Piazzola Escandalo by Ruben Fuentes Watch What Happens by Michel Legrand Besame Mucho by Consuelo Velazquez But Beautiful by Jimmy Van Heusen O Pato by Jayme Silva Lure of the Cowbell by Gerry Schroeder Bachianas Brasileiras #5 by Heitor Villa-Lobos Anos De Solidad by Astor Piazzola Senior Miguelito by Howard Dubin Segure Ele by Pixinguinha

CD A Whisper, A Sigh, A Dream (Classical) (A Whisper, A Sigh, A Dream)
This CD features original music by several of my composer friends. Mark Gasbarro wrote the title piece, Tim Simonec wrote his version of the 4 Seasons, and Victor Vanacore wrote a spirited Neapolitan piece to round out the original music on the CD. The rest of the recording is from the standard literature.

CD Stravinsky and Scott (Octets)
The Hollywood Chamber Players perform "The Octet", and "Septet" by Igor Stravinsky and "The Wind In The Willows" by John Scott. Some of these selections you will find to be seminal versions of the pieces. I am proud to say that I am part of this iconic recording of the Stravinsky Octet and John Scott's The Wind In The Willows.
